ETHICS + SCOPE

Astrology can touch deeply personal parts of a life. I take that responsibility seriously.

My practice is grounded in curiosity, consent, confidentiality, intellectual integrity, and respect for your ability to make your own choices.

Client autonomy

My role is not to tell you who you are or what you must do.

I bring the astrology, timing, and patterns I see in your chart. You bring your lived experience, context, and choices. Astrology can show us where to look, but you remain the authority on what your experiences mean and what you choose to do with them.

I do not present astrology as a fixed verdict about your life or future.

Scope of practice

Astrology and tarot are interpretive practices intended for reflection, insight, and personal exploration.

They do not replace medical, mental-health, legal, financial, or other professional advice.

I am not a medical astrologer and do not use astrology to diagnose, assess, or advise on medical conditions.

I also do not make predictions about death, including its timing or circumstances.

Consent

I only read another person's chart when they have given permission for their birth information to be used.

If you would like me to consider the chart of a partner, family member, friend, colleague, or other person during your reading, I ask that you obtain their consent first.

I also do not use tarot to attempt to access another person's private thoughts, feelings, or intentions without their consent. We can always explore your experience of the relationship and the dynamics it brings up for you.

Privacy + confidentiality

Your chart, birth information, intake responses, private correspondence, reading, recording, and personalized materials are treated as confidential.

I will not publicly share your personal information, chart, recording, story, or identifying details without your permission.

Public figures + educational astrology

I sometimes use the charts of public figures for education, research, and public astrology content.

When birth-time accuracy matters, I make a reasonable effort to disclose the reliability of the available birth data, including Rodden Ratings where available.

My goal is to use astrology to illuminate patterns and technique rather than make unsupported claims about someone's private inner life.

Tarot + oracle

Tarot and oracle may be used as reflective or divinatory practices within a session. I do not present a card as proof of an inevitable outcome.

Research + intellectual integrity

Astrology has a long intellectual history, and my work is informed by traditional texts, contemporary teachers, ongoing study, and observation through practice.

I make a conscious effort to distinguish established astrological doctrine from my own interpretation and to credit the work of other astrologers, authors, teachers, and researchers where appropriate.

I do not represent another person's teachings, writing, or research as my own.

Ongoing education

Astrology is a practice I expect to keep studying.

I continue my education through classes, mentorship, conferences, primary and secondary texts, research, and dialogue with other practitioners.

A final principle

I want astrology to give you more agency, not less.

The purpose of our work is not to make you dependent on an astrologer. It is to help you understand the patterns and timing moving through your life with greater context, curiosity, and choice.
