I wish I had a cooler origin story, the kind where I found an astrology book at thirteen and never put it down. Mine started later. I found astrology in my mid-twenties, after my divorce, when everything I thought I knew about the American dream had come apart. I wasn't looking for astrology so much as I was looking for myself.

Two years later I enrolled at the Faculty of Astrological Studies, and I've been studying ever since. My training taught me technique; my life taught me how I listen.

The longer I study astrology, the more convinced I am that both matter. A chart can hold an extraordinary amount of information, but it is never the whole person.

Education matters.
But it cannot create presence.
It cannot replace discernment.
It cannot teach a heart how to listen.
